Skills and Qualifications

• Digital Cinematography with RED and Sony cameras

• DCBC Occupational (commercial) Scuba Diver

• TDI certified rEvo closed circuit rebreather

• Aerial filming with DJI Inspire 2 + Mavic 3 Cine drones. Transport Canada certified drone operator. FAA Part 107.

• Use of large gimbals. Owner/operator of Ronin 2 with vehicle and boat mounts.

• design, build and operation of custom underwater camera systems; remote and pole cameras, ROVs

• dslr camera traps with 300+ days spent in the field managing systems from the rainforests of South America to frozen forests of Canada

• Transport Canada Small Vessel Operator (SVOP) and Radio Operator (ROC). Hundreds of hours operating zodiacs and powered vessels in hostile open ocean conditions.

• Comfortable working in remote and extreme environments, above and below water, with large and unpredictable wild animals.

• Bachelors degree in biology. Skilled naturalist with in depth knowledge of species identification, ecology and behaviour.

• Red Cross Marine First Aid training
